The Einbecker Brewery (German: Einbecker Brauhaus) is a brewery located in Einbeck, Germany. Founded before 1378, it is one of the oldest still operating breweries in the world. The city of Einbeck is noted for its bock beer.
Bock is a strong beer of German origin, brewed as a lager when made with only barley malt, and brewed as an ale when wheat malt is added. Mai-Ur-Bock, a Maibock, 6.5% is available in May only. Einbecker Ur-Bock lager is the “Beer of all Beers”, characterized by a subtle hint of hops in accordance with the original recipe. Full-bodied, spicy aromatic flavor!
